Rating users photos

Question: 

The images in a photo gallery made from the techniques in the book are all in one node so how would it be possible to add rating to the images within the gallery? Fivestar rates the node and therefore the whole gallery, not images within the gallery. It woul dbe good to rate the image from inside thickbox. Also I guess there should be code to stop users voting on their own images. Thanks for any comments.

Interesting remark, not sure at this time though. You should look for an option to ty fivestar to seperate cck fields. Not sure if that exists.

The standard permission options might be able to help you with the rating of their own users.

If you want text in the image, like a watermark, you can do this with imagecache_actions module.

The description should normally be the image title. And you can add a title / alt text on your imagefield options.
