Question: 

I wrote code in the Empty Text,(as in page 36)

I created the .jpg file in required folder

but got error:

"Parse error: parse error, expecting `','' or `';'' in C:\xampp\htdocs\drupal\includes\common.inc(1645) : eval()'d code on line 1"

You can just copy that code from the PDF file.

Watch out though. The code at page 40/41 uses the wrong quote marks. You will need to replace those with the straight ones. like this '
