Newsletter Module

Question: 

I am looking for a good tutorial on the installing the newsletter and configuring it properly. I have tried several time, it does not work like I think it should. I guess that I can not see what I am doing wrong. I know that I am missing something simple.

Maybe this is where I did not understand. I do not think so. I know how to create categories, but this is probably where I need help. For some reason this is a module that seem too easy. Maybe this is the problem, too easy.

When you say category, how about newsletter category and then list items in that category? Is this correct. This is the way that I set up my web links, with that category call category and then listed Drupal, training, tutorial, etc.

Just want to make sure before I do it.
