I have followed the instructions in the book, but I am still unable to make the panel take over the profile. Any suggestions?
Ok, chances are that you have put the modules in the root module diretory of Drupal and did not create a seperate diretory this maks all the difference in the world.
I have my modules in sites/all/modules
Please check that your panel's path is "node/%" and not "/node/%".
My panel's path is node/% , I have added context but my panel does not take over the profile page.
Remember, we are not taking over the My Account page, but the profile node.
Same problem for me. I read your link and others at least 3 times yesterday before listing my problem and I'm still stuck.
Done everything up to the end of chapter 4 but priles look like this http://www.artlink.co.uk/users/darrelldv
Nothing seems to change except round edged boxes, so is their one check box somewhere overriding the whole profile? Please help! :)
ok.. think I'm getting it.
found fake member that I made direct with ../node/4
when I'm logged in as them and not admin I see the profile, from 'my profile' link. I added something to the top pane in admin just top check it was what I was seeing and it came up on the profile. Seems being logged in as admin meant I wasn't seeing everything as I should, confusing but probably somethig I can look at solving.
