Error 500 after install drupalfun v2.1

Question: 

Hi,

I am trying to install drupalfun v2.1 and I can not. I followed the steps of Drupalfuninstallinstructions.txt and once done, to go to homepage appears smooth, but when I access any link displays

Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@xxxx.xxx and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Where can I be wrong?

I am using drupal 6.17
I don't know how to configure the setting.php
however I have placed the file into sites/default directory and changed it's rights to chmod 777
Now when I opened my site by writing livetogather.co.cc in mozilla firefox (this the url of my site) I got that error.
Then I changed the rights of whole site to chmod 777 but still nothing
I find there a base_url ='username:password@yourdomain' but don't know what to do with it and also don't know what to do with database prefix
