Hi Dorien, I am using your wonderful book (I read it over the weekend) to help me create a Social Networking site aimed at a quite broad cross-section of the population.

This is my third site and my first commercial contract in Drupal, so far have found a few things where changes in module terminology in Views and Panels have meant following your recipes a bit difficult, but I am documenting as I go so will feed back.

Your site will provide the basis which I will then extend.

If when done this site goes viral and grows to it's max potential size we will have a very good idea of how Drupal based Social Network sites, scale. It is as exciting as it is scary.

On this pages they are asking to add:

Interesting to see comments module being used as a wall

Hi dorien...I am Yiannis from Crete, Greece. I am trying to build a computer geek (in drupal 6.15) social networking web site with blog, articles, video gallery and ofcourse user profiles. I am using latest content profile module for users with cck fields but it seems that i am stuck because I can't get nice tabs to display the profile. For example I have view, edit and under edit i have account and profile. My theme is from template monster and it manages local tasks in style.css. Any ideas or module that will allow to theme those tabs easily? What I am looking for is something like quick tabs ( i followed your tutorial in http://drupalfun.com/question/quicktabs-user-photos-and-user-videos-fina...) but i can't get it to work for the account edit (user/%/edit as path in a page view) and profile edit (user/%/edit/profile). Any help will be greatly appreciated!

I really would like to know whether is possible to page the "My Wall" entries in a AJAX style? I mean,

1- It is possible to split the comments in several pages, this would make "My Wall" have a fix size.

2- go through the comments pages without reloading the profile page.

Thank you so much for the creation of your Social Networking Book. It is awesome!! It has really helped to jump start our site. I had to make a few changes for the new Panels module. i m still impressed about drupalfun and your book. This site(konzept) seems what i was loking for a long time for the community i m trying to build now. I have to read your book first and ask then, but pls one question before: the complete package you are offering contains exactly what? I did not find enough infos about it.
What I like about drupalfun is the implementation of Google-Ads with the members of the community. Is this part of the package?
In which (language) area of swiss you are?;) Do you speak german?
